lyrics
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
I can feel the darkness
Trickle through my veins
Their teeth still latched into my flesh
Jet black venom dripping from their jagged fangs
Paralyzed, I’m no longer in control
They now indwell in me
Cursed by fate
My salvation defiled
Aspirate
Gagging on spit and bile
They own me
I’ll never be set free
Legions now
Indwell in me
Whispers swirl around the room
A frigid breath of sorrow sends shivers down my spine
Now I lay helpless in the gloom
An entity inside my head says “you are now mine”
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
Like a marionette
They gain control of me
My limbs suspended into space
My head filled with suicidal fantasies
All they want is for my spirit to fade
And leave a hollow vessel
They want me
To suffer endlessly
Pray for death
It won’t come easily
They won’t let me
Escape this misery
Evil now
Indwells in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
They indwell in me
I bare the mark of the unholy
I now crave death and the blood of Christ
Legions now
Indwell in my soul
Legions now
Indwell in my soul
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
